I am a Microsoft Certified Trainer, yet programmer by trade. See my CV and work history for details.
Most of my schedule is taken up by training Microsoft Official Curriculum. Topics I prefer include C#, BizTalk, Commerce Server, Content Management Server, ISA, ACS and just about all .NET related material. However, I will take on anything new and exciting that is within my capabilities, so feel free to ask me if you have something exotic in mind.
I like to travel, so location is never a problem, it is usually a bonus! In fact, I often give discounts in the 30% range just to be able to travel. I have previously trained in South Africa (my country of birth), Singapore, Mauritius, the UK (my country of residence) and Egypt. I would love to go see Japan, New Zealand, some parts of the USA and definitely Europe!
As a programmer, I mostly write templates, proof-of-concepts, prototypes and examples for new technology. Some of these are available on this site, but most of this kind of work is done in a Consulting setting for periods from as short as a few days up to four months.
Formal consulting, by me, is mostly a matter of architectural design and discussion for solutions with Microsoft's .NET Platform (Framework & Enterprise Servers). This often includes an educational element.
If I like the project, subject or technology, I'm in!
